"Green Redgrave” is a group of like-minded volunteers from the village with the aim, supported by the Parish Council, to make Redgrave a Wildlife Friendly Village — one where we can restore and recover environmental biodiversity to make a beautiful historic village enjoyable for wildlife and residents alike.
-
The main aim of the Group is to undertake projects to enhance the village environment and make it suitable for wildlife and residents alike. Details of these projects can be found on our Facebook site (https://www.facebook.com/groups/3191728757769842). We are developing our own website and a link will be made to that here when it is up and running.
-
The Group holds occasional lectures on wildlife and environmental topics and also plans to arrange visits to sites of interest. Details of these lectures and visits are distributed to the Group’s members via our email list and posted on our Facebook site.
-
We welcome new members in the group, particularly those willing to help with the projects. For more details contact Andy Warnes at awarnes@btinternet.com or on 07478 337331.
