We take data protection seriously. As your Parish Council we may need to gather, store and process personal data to carry out our public functions and/or to perform specific tasks in the public interest. In doing this we take care to comply with the specific requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  We have developed a set of policies to show how we use, process, share, protect and dispose of personal data; these policies are the Data Protection Policy (covering data relating to councillors or employees of the Council), the Data Privacy Notice (for personal data relating to the general public), the Information Incident Security Policy and the Document Control & Record Management Policy. These documents can be seen in Policy Documents section of this website.

Our General Privacy Notice – see here - explains how these policies might affect you and what your rights are regarding any data we may hold on you.
