Redgrave Parish Council continues to explore the acquisition of the woodland area off the Green. The goal of this purchase is to support local wildlife recovery by bringing a high-value, yet currently degraded, habitat into community ownership. By managing the site positively for nature, the Council aims to enhance its ecological importance while addressing environmental pressures and providing public access for residents. 

To fund the project, the Council is investigating a grant application through the Mid-Suffolk District Council Community Nature Recovery scheme.
